One Giant mistake after another for Plaxico Burress.
Once again Plaxico Burress winds up with a Giant mistake. More headaches for the 
New York Footbal Giants and dealing with Plaxico Burress. It appears that NY Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress could have used some gun safety lessons as well. So much for Plexico’s ailing hamstring keeping him out of this Sunday’s NFL game, the gun shot wound trumps a pulled muscle. The Giants WR accidently shot himself in the leg Friday night. The incident is reportedly to have occurred in a night club; however, the exact one has not been released. The talented Giant wide receiver just cannot seem to stay out of off field trouble. Why do we think that there is much more to this story than is being initially reported? Because guns just go off by themselves.
New York Giants star wide receiver Plaxico Burress accidentally shot himself in the leg Friday, according to multiple media reports.
Burress was hospitalized with gunshot injuries Friday night that were not believed to be life-threatening, FOX Sports.com reported Saturday.
A spokesman for the Giants on Saturday told PA SportsTicker that the team had no comment, although they acknowledged they are aware there was an incident.
Burress has not practice all week due to an ailing hamstring and already had been ruled out of Sunday’s game against the Washington Redskins.
According to Newsday, Plaxico Burress was hospitalized last night after a loaded gun he was carrying accidentally fired, causing injuries to his leg that are not life-threatening. Imagine that, the loaded gun just accidently fired all by itself? His wounds may not be life threatening; however, the fact that he was carrying a concealed weapon with a FL permit may land Burriss in more off-field hot water.
Burress has a concealed weapon permit from the state of Florida that expired in May 2008. It is unclear if the permit was renewed; such a license can be renewed up to six months beyond the expiration date in accordance with section 790.06(11)(a) of Florida Statutes.
However, the state of New York and New Jersey do not recognize permits from Florida, so Burress could be charged in the incident.
The list of incidents continue to grow.
In September, Burress was fined one week’s salary — $117,500 — and suspended for two weeks (one of them the bye week) after missing a team meeting. He was also fined $45,000 by the NFL for his actions during and after a game against the 49ers in which he questioned the officiating and threw a ball into the stands following a touchdown.
During the summer, police were summoned to Burress’ New Jersey home twice for domestic disputes. On June 2 his wife, Tiffany, called police and claimed that during an argument Burress had grabbed her while Burress said he was slapped in the face by is wife. No charges were filed, but a temporary restraining order was granted and later dismissed. On Aug. 19, Tiffany Burress again called police after the two argued at a night club and Burress arrived home late and began playing loud music. She was granted another restraining order that was dismissed by the state court.

Then moments later when accepting a Humanitarian award T.I. decided to go into the song “Ain’t I” when some people from his crew decided to jump off the stage and talk to Shawty Lo and, we’ll watch the video you’ll see the result.
When you got to THE DIRTY awards, what do you expect…did you see that guy laying flat on the carpet? Wow…just when it seemed like T.I. was trying to resolve the situation.

BlackBerry Storm: The reviews are in...and it's bad.
So, the reviews are in and it doesn't sound very good. Verizon sent the press kits to reporters earlier this week on the condition that they not publish anything until today (the day before release). I'm in media, so I know that's not that unusual, but I'm still suspect.
I'm still going to get mine early Friday, but I already call Verizon to make sure I can bring it back within 30 days and get out of the contract. I've been with Verizon forever and don't have any major complaints, but the iPhone has been calling me and the only thing keeping with Verizon was the Storm's release. Now that it's out, we'll see if I stay with Verizon or jet to ATT like all my homies.
Anybody else copping the Storm?
I find this kid from Phonedog to be pretty credible. You'll notice how geeked he was in the first vid and then after a few hours with the phone he was like 'nah.'
Don't know this cat, but the review was alright.
This chick from PC World really rip it to shreds. But PC World showed it's bias earlier this week when they published half of a two sided review comparing the iPhone and Storm.

The New York Jets are a contender. If there was any doubt, they squashed that skepticism Sunday in Nashville with a 34-13 pasting of the previously undefeated Titans.
In what has become a trend for the AFC East leaders, the Jets played another complete game. The defense was suffocating, Brett Favre threw a scoring pass in each half and Leon Washington cemented another impressive win a scintillating 61-yard run to the house and a 4-yard score in the final quarter.
The 8-3 Jets, who have now won five games in a row overall, completed their most impressive three-game road stretch in franchise history. After topping the 5-2 Bills in Buffalo and the 6-3 Pats in New England, the Jets moved south and out-classed a 10-0 Titans squad.
Favre, who threw his first interception in three games, was madly efficient and completed 25 of his 32 passes for 224 yards. He spread the ball around neatly as Coles had 7 receptions for 88 yards and Jerricho Cotchery and rookie tight end Dustin Keller added a half dozen each for 55 and 42 respectively. Not to be overlooked was Thomas Jones’ tough 96-yard effort on the ground.

Black Moon & Smiff N Wessun @ Knitting Factory
Last night Duck Down Records hosted a tribute to the classics, Black Moon (minus an incarcerated 5 FT) and Smiff N Wessun backed by a live band rocked songs off their seminal albums Enta Da Stage and Dah Shinin’ to a sold out crowd at NYC’s Knitting Factory. They ran through all the Boot Camp gems like “Bucktown”, “Who Got Da Props?”, “Lets Get it On”, + more. Duck Down head honcho, Dru-Ha, even grabbed the mic for old times sake to perform his verse off “You Da Man” (peep his crowd surf). Mobb Deep’s Havoc also made an appearance to spit his verse, but seemed confused when the band began playing the instrumental to “Shook Ones”. However, the biggest surpise guest of the night was Gym Class Heroes frontman Travis Mccoy who wasted no time in spitting for the room full of finicky backpackers. Duck Down lastest signee? hmmm…
