So it has been reported that since we’re doing black (people) this year several African American actors have thrown their hat in to play the legendary James Bond role in the next flick. One of the most vocal pursuers of the role is Sean “Diddy” Combs who according to reports spent $750,000 making a a 007 audition tape in the South Of France. He even told Britain’s Daily Mirror newspaper, “This is my audition tape for the next James Bond. There is a black president, and it’s time for there to be a black Bond.”The tape features him in a helicopter, surrounded by Bond girls and even racing on a jet ski wearing a tuxedo.
The funny thing about this audition tape is it sounds strangely like the new ads that are running for his I Am King fragrance which feature him in the same scenes. So he’s either going to get this movie roll or the director will buy his new fragrance - either way it’s a win-win……
